My first run out after Spain I headed out to Thetford in Norfolk to take part take in the park run with Eye Community runners on tour. Had a lovely breakfast after not quite achieving a personal best to the weatherspoon pub the Red Lion where full English breakfast has never tasted so good. Also the town market was busy and there was some nice shops in visit.

We then headed onto Go Ape in Thetford forest. I am really not confident with heights but I am up for a challenge as you all know by now.

We arrived just five miles out of the town, there was ample room for both cars and coaches, excellent picnic area for large groups and a huge café serving hot and cold food. It is advisable to book your activities in advance as they fill up quite quickly they arrange from pony rides, bike hire to Segway. Ruby and I chose the Junior Tree Top challenge and children have to be supervised by an adult hence why I took the trees. We were given a briefing by staff and made to read instructions at the ticket desk before being harnessed up and clipped on. My little girl showed me how brave and strong she was helping me every step of the way.

After we headed into the forest to play on the huge climbing frames and slides. There is a musical forest trail where instruments placed throughout.
