Created to help foreign students learn the English language in a way that suits them, Comuni-co offers a range of made-to-measure courses, holidays and home tuition designed to complement each student’s studies – whether they’re at school, university or simply keen to learn the language as an adult, either for fun or to help them in their work.

Run by a small team of experienced language teachers, translators and interpreters, foreign students can opt to take a study holiday on an exchange programme – staying with a host family or in a hotel with other students – or choose a more individual style of learning.

The Peterborough-based company strives to put students’ needs first, and the Group Travel World team were keen to get involved with a recent study day organised by Comuni-co for some of its Italian students.

GTW’s Harley Denham was asked to do a presentation to the students to explain how the magazine and its spin-off brands, including the ticket offers site grouptraveloffers.com, work together to help promote group tourism in the UK.

“Working with Comuni-co we helped educate a number of travel and tourism students on the group travel industry in the UK,” says Harley. “We also offered support from our new recruitment website www.traveljobsworld.com – to help students find a job once they’ve finished their studies.”
