A little bit about Kenwood House

Kenwood House, Robert Adam’s 18th-century masterpiece in north London, houses one of the greatest art collections in Britain. Its sumptuous Adam rooms, with glorious interiors, feature works of art by Rembrandt, Turner and Vermeer.

There are displays telling the story of the house and its residents – from Judge Lord Mansfield and his mixed race great niece Dido Belle, to brewing magnate Edward Guinness, who gave Kenwood to the nation. Set in 112-acres of leafy parkland landscaped by Humphrey Repton and dotted with garden ornaments and sculptures, Kenwood has wonderful views across London. Entry is free, but for a small charge, there are a choice of seven tours to choose from which make group visits to this stunning property something really special.
