Lose yourself in the new Horrible Histories maze at Warwick Castle this summer, as the past's most gruesome elements combine to invade the grounds of the fortress, bringing the hit TV show to life.

The new attraction adds to the theatre of this epic attraction - already home to live jousting displays, have-a-go archery sections and the UK's biggest bird of prey show, The Falconer's Quest. “This is worth a visit just on its own,” says Group Travel World editor Helen Milbank. “I've never been so moved by a birds of prey show - it's wonderfully told and acted, and as the birds swoop over the audience's head, just inches away, it's just amazing.

"My advice would be to get a seat for both The Falconer's Quest and the War of the Roses Live jousting display around half an hour before the show starts on busy days to guarantee the best spot, as both are fantastic.”

For younger visitors, Zog is also new for this summer, with interactive trail Zog & the Quest for the Golden Star based on books by Julia Donaldson. Regular meet and greets with Zog also take place through the day.

Fun, interactive and with fantastic views from the castle's tower walkways, Warwick Castle makes for a fantastic family day out. Find out more about all that's on offer during what's been hailed the castle's 'biggest summer in history' at https://www.warwick-castle.com/
