[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In a beautiful setting, Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Garden in Warwickshire, is one of the most romantic castles in the land, standing testament to its medieval and Tudor glory days when it was home to Robert Dudley, the great love of Queen Elizabeth 1, who entertained her ‘right royally’ within it’s lovely sandstone walls.
This year (2017), English Heritage pays tribute to motoring pioneer John Devenport Siddley, 1st Baron of Kenilworth, in a new exhibition, ‘Speed and Power: John Siddley, Pioneer of the Motor Age.’ Full of fascinating artefacts and ephemera, it tells the story of Siddeley’s lifelong association with the glamorous worlds of motoring and aviation and his donation of the castle to the nation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Itinerary for the day
