WINTER FUNLAND is returning to Birmingham NEC this December, bringing the UK’s largest indoor Christmas event to families in the Midlands.

From Saturday December 6th to Saturday January 3^rd the NEC will be filled with funfair rides, a festive circus and a giant ice rink, all for just one ticket price.

Winter Funland is a great opportunity to wear your Christmas jumper and get in the festive spirit…. without worrying about the weather! Expect all the fun of the fair as well as a spectacular circus show with naughty elves, acrobats and a string of seasoned performers from around the world.  They’ll be lots of smiles on the ice rink too, whether you’re gliding along like a pro, or wobbling along with the help of one of our penguins!

It’s the perfect Christmas experience for all the family, and is a fully indoor event, safe from the winter weather. It has over 25 rides for young children including favourites such as the dodgems, the waltzers, a carousel, rodeo bulls, the twister, Miami Fun House and a crazy golf course. New for this year will be story time with Mother Christmas.

Winter Funland Event Manager Glen Ramsey said: “Winter Funland is in its fifth year at the NEC and we always try to make sure we put on a great show for an affordable price.

“We know how important it is creating great memories at Christmas and the fact it’s all indoors means people don’t have to worry about the weather. It’s all carpeted and we have a full Christmas show which takes place in the accreditation area prior to entering the event so be sure to arrive early!

“Our circus acts have been touring around the world all year, but they love coming back to Birmingham and spreading some Christmas cheer.”

Tickets are £35 each plus a booking fee, or a family ticket is £137.50 for a family of four. Under 3’s and carers go free.

There will be food vendors all around the venue too, bringing festive treats including Bavarian sausage grill, gourmet burgers, pizzas, Greek, churros and waffles, hot chocolate and lots of sweet treats, as well as vegetarian and other dietary options.

Due to the sheer number of attractions, are asking families to ensure they leave enough travel time, including the courtesy bus or walking time from the car park at the NEC to the event in Hall 5. Car parking can be booked separately through the NEC website.

A range of daytime and early evening tickets are available to book now. The event is strictly capacity controlled so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Children under three and Carers go free but still require a ticket.
