Hotel Indigo Chester is celebrating after winning two recent awards. The contemporary boutique hotel has won the Gold Accommodation Award in the 2023 Taste Chester Awards and The Forge Restaurant has earned a Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for 2023.

In its 21st year, the Taste Cheshire Awards are designed to celebrate the best of the county’s food and drink scene, from restaurants and pubs to producers and suppliers. They are also the only publicly voted awards of their kind in Cheshire. In a glamourous ceremony on 27 September, over 400 people from across Cheshire’s food, drink, and hospitality industries gathered to honour the best and brightest in the business. Against very competitive field, Hotel Indigo Chester earned the top Accommodation Award with The Chester Grosvenor and Abode Hotel claiming the silver and bronze awards respectively.

The awards are decided from the views of real-life diners’ insights collected over a 12-month period on the Tripadvisor platform. By earning Travelers’ Choice Award, The Forge has shown itself as a restaurant among the top 10% of all listings on Tripadvisor, with consistently strong reviews and demonstrating a commitment to hospitality excellence.
