Darwin Escapes has developed its offering of premium UK breaks with the opening of its new Stratford-Upon-Avon Lodge Retreat, deep in the heart of Warwickshire.
The 44 luxury lodges sit in an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to historic Stratford-upon-Avon, ideal for self-catering holidays, with fully fitted kitchens, floor to ceiling windows, large dining and living areas and expansive decking, with private hot tubs at some lodges.
As with all Darwin Escapes locations, the Stratford-upon-Avon Retreat will be operating through the summer at capacity with full COVID safety protocols in place, meaning guests can rest easy in the knowledge that they will be safe and secure during their stay.
The site also hosts the Stratford Armories Museum, now reopened and updated by Darwin Escapes, with its fascinating war exhibitions that include a collection of mementos from the life of Winston Churchill.
Darwin Escapes has developed extensive links with the area over recent years, including the sponsorship of The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) since 2018. This summer the RSC will be starting their summer season in the newly built Garden Theatre, and Darwin Escapes is the sponsor of “The Comedy of Errors” production. Tickets for the production can be purchased at: www.rsc.org.uk/the-comedy-of-errors/tickets/
Darwin Escapes currently operates 24 holiday resorts and three golf courses across the UK, offering a mixture of beach, city and countryside breaks as well as holiday home ownership.
