Kew Gardens and London Transport Museum Depot FAM Trip - Tuesday 14th October 2025

This is an event for tour planners and group travel organisers to experience two exciting attractions.

London Transport Museum Depot

The Depot houses over 320,000 items of all types, including many original works of art used for the Museum's celebrated poster collection, vehicles, signs, models, photographs, engineering drawings and uniforms. Together these form one of the most comprehensive and important records of urban transport anywhere in the world.

The Depots main purpose is to act as a working museum store. It provides 6000 square metres of storage space in secure, environmentally controlled conditions. Here curators and volunteers work to catalogue and conserve objects to preserve our heritage for future generations.

Kew Gardens

Discover the world of science behind the botanical collections, with over 50,000 living plants to be found across the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The mission at Kew Gardens is to understand and protect plants and fungi, for the wellbeing of people and the future of all life on Earth.  The unprecedented rate of degradation means we are living through an age of extinction. Kew know the next decade is critical to reverse this trend.

Their aspiration is to end the extinction crisis and help create a world where nature is protected, valued and managed sustainably.
