One of Britain’s largest second-hand bookshops. Housed in Alnwick’s beautifully restored Victorian railway station, the tour will explore the building’s history, the shop’s unique book-exchange system, and some of its most valuable and rare titles, offering a fascinating glimpse into both literary and local heritage

11.30am - Alnwick Gardens
Guests will enjoy a guided visit to the Alnwick Garden, one of the UK’s most striking contemporary gardens. Highlights include the fascinating Poison Garden, the imaginative play world of Lilidorei, and free time to explore the grounds before visiting the unique The Treehouse Restaurant
1.00pm - Lunch at The Treehouse Restaurant
Set within the grounds of the Alnwick Garden, the The Treehouse Restaurant offers a unique dining experience among the treetops. Built from sustainably sourced wood and connected by rope bridges, the restaurant creates a magical atmosphere, serving seasonal dishes while guests enjoy the warm glow of its central fire and woodland surroundings

2.15pm - Bailiffgate Museum
Guests will visit Bailiffgate Museum, a local museum housed in a former Victorian church near Alnwick Castle. During the tour, you will explore the galleries and a temporary exhibition titled Lost and Endangered Crafts, showcasing the work of contemporary makers and highlighting traditional skills that are at risk of disappearing
3.15pm -Free time and walk to White Swan to check in
6pm - Pre-dinner Liquor tasting at White Swan Hotel
Guests will enjoy a Northumberland Liquor Tasting, hosted by Naomi Phillips, Classic Lodges.

We will be joined by a host of attractions both locally and further afield. This unique format allows you 10 minutes of one on one time with each attraction to discuss your needs and how they can accommodate and entertain your groups.
12pm - 1pm - Lunch at White Swan Hotel
*Drive 30 mins to Bamburgh Castle*
2pm - Bamburgh Castle
Guests will visit the magnificent Bamburgh Castle, dramatically set above the Northumberland coastline. During the tour, you will explore the historic state rooms and learn about the castle’s long history. As the visit takes place during the festive season, the castle will also be beautifully decorated with its special Christmas displays.
3pm - Finish
