Caerphilly Castle in South Wales will host its very own ice rink this winter – for the very first time.
Coinciding with the town’s Christmas lights switch on – which forms part of the Caerphilly by Twilight event featuring local choirs and the launch of the Twilight Market – the rink will officially open on Friday November 23rd.
A pop-up pancake house, festive food and drink and a medieval grotto with planned visits from Father Christmas will all add to the Christmas cheer.
The ice rink will be open from Friday November 23 until Sunday December 9.
Opening times are:
Weekends: 10am -9pm
Tickets, which can be bought online, cost £7 for an adult, £5 for a child or £22 for a family of four.
