Twenty-plus years of working with coach and tour operators and GTOs across the country will be celebrated at a special Steve Reed Tourism Celebration event in Windsor this autumn.

Monday 2nd October will be the date for this networking event, where group travel buyers and sellers can come together to talk business. The event – initially delayed by two years of lockdowns – is a chance for the travel trade and the group travel sectors to meet up for an event hosted by Classic Lodges Hotels at their Windsor Grovefield Hotel https://www.classiclodges.co.uk/grovefield-house/ from 10am to 1pm. There, attractions, destinations and hotels can converge to meet with tour planners from around the UK.

Coach and tour operators are invited to stay at the Grovefield Hotel and enjoy dinner at the Grovefield the night before on Sunday 1st October – as are exhibitors. Day delegates are also invited to join in the celebrations on the Monday 2nd October at the Grovefield Hotel, where a networking holiday show will take place in the morning from 10am until 1pm – followed by a French Brothers River Cruise https://www.frenchbrothers.co.uk/group-travel/ from 2pm for tour planners signing up for the SRT event.

Husband and wife team Steve and Judith Reed (pictured here) created Steve Reed Tourism in 1999 from their then-North East base and have since worked exclusively on group travel all over the country. Relocating to Hampshire in 2011, Steve and Judith felt it was time to celebrate by organising an event of their own: ‘Over the years we’ve met hundreds of tour planners and helped promote so many beautiful places across our wonderful country. And Windsor is a great destination for our SRT event,’ says Steve. ‘Not only has it got an excellent group hotel and exhibition venue – the Grovefield – but it also offers one of the very best River Thames Cruises in French Brothers. Both companies know how to look after groups.’

If you’re a tour planner and wish to attend this event either as an overnight delegate on the 1st October or as a day delegate on the 2nd October, please email steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk

The travel trade in the shape of DMOS, tourist boards, BID Companies, hotels and attractions are invited to come to this celebration networking event. They also have the chance to stay overnight at the Grovefield or indeed attend as an exhibitor the next day Monday 2nd October. Again, email steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk for details.
