UK group travel specialists Steve Reed Tourism Ltd [SRT] from Hampshire has just announced an exciting new tie up geared towards Group Travel Organisers and businesses seeking to gain new group bookings from this important sector of the tourism industry.

MD Steve Reed is to be the ‘Champion’ of a brand new and exclusive club for GTOS entitled TWA – Travel World Association.

Formerly a Director of AGTO [the Association of Group Travel Organisers] Steve is to use all of the 20 years’ experience and networking of Steve Reed Tourism to help develop TWA into the ‘go-to’ organisation for the tourism industry.

The concept of the club is to provide regular opportunities for active GTOS to meet and do business with tourism businesses directly – including hotels, attractions and destinations. GTOS joining TWA must prove that they are active in tour planning and have a touring history.

Steve Reed Tourism is a very well-known player in the tourism industry having worked right across the country for two decades effectively putting buyers together with sellers. The husband and wife team of Steve and Judith Reed have helped to develop millions of pounds worth of group bookings for numerous providers. They have extensive and active tour planner contacts and this has enabled them to deliver real and tangible bookings and support for a multiplicity of attractions, accommodation providers, retail outlets and destinations.

A snapshot of their current work sees SRT arranging showcase events at such diverse locations as the Severn Valley Railway, Southern Wales Tourism and later this month, for the English Riviera in Devon.

‘We’ve always thought that GTOS deserve to have a regular opportunity to meet with the actual tourism industry to discuss their touring plans – and TWA as an exclusive club with entry requirements for members certainly fits the bill,’ explains Steve.

‘I’m so pleased to be able as ‘Champion’ of TWA to be in a position to champion and help develop these causes. It’s an exciting and ambitious phase for Steve Reed Tourism and one that we’re very much enjoying.’
