The private gardens of London’s historic Charterhouse can be explored this summer thanks to a series of Open Gardens evenings on June 23 and July 14, where you’ll be able to
gain access to the seven-acre site, which has been specially created for the Brothers –
residents at The Charterhouse Almshouse. Dating back to the 14th century, this fascinating spot in Farringdon was hidden behind closed doors for more than 650 years, but groups can now discover its secrets by booking on to a guided tour or enjoying one of the garden evenings (with prices from £8).
