Hackney Empire has announced the cast of its 2014 pantomime Mother Goose, directed by Susie McKenna - who will take to the stage as evil sorceress Vanity - alongside Kat B, who’ll play Billy Goose.

They join Clive Rowe, who celebrates his 10th appearance in the show, and Olivier Award-winning Sharon D Clarke, who plays the good enchantress Charity. The full cast includes Matt Dempsey (Prince Jack), Tony Timberlake (Baron Barmey), Darren Hart (Frightening Freda), Abigail Rosser (Princess Jill) and Alix Ross (Priscilla). Set in the merry kingdom of Hackneytopia E8, the show features a battle between two sisters, Charity and her evil sibling Vanity, for the soul of Mother Goose. Will she be saved by Princess Priscilla, a goose who lays golden eggs?

The production runs at London’s Hackney Empire from November 22 to January 4, 2015, and tickets are on sale now, priced from £10-£32 (concessions available). There is a discount for groups of 10 or more. For details call 020 8985 2424 or visit www.hackneyempire.co.uk
