The British Tourism & Travel Show – from 22-23 March – is the largest showcase for Britain and Ireland’s domestic tourism industry. It’s renowned for attracting a host of big name speakers, and this year’s no exception. The line-up for 2017 includes:

  • Benjamin Mee – inspiration for the Hollywood film We Bought a Zoo. In his session, ‘Overcoming the Unforeseen’, Benjamin will share his emotive story of courage, resilience and enterprise. When he and his family learned Dartmoor Zoo would be closed down if a buyer couldn’t be found, he fought against all the odds and bought it. Benjamin will appear in the Keynote Theatre on 22 March, from 1pm-1.45pm.
  • Julia Bradbury – TV personality. Having dedicated much of her career to promoting the scenic landscapes, rivers and coastal cliffs of the English countryside, Julia recently fronted Best Walks with a View with Julia Bradbury on ITV, which saw her exploring some of Britain’s most breath-taking scenery and reaching audiences of 4,000,000. Julia will appear in the Keynote Theatre on 23 March, from 1pm-1.45pm.
  • Joel Brandon-Bravo – UK MD, Travelzoo. Joel will lift the lid on Travelzoo’s digital approach to building the right package, showcase best practices and talk about what we can learn from industries outside travel. Joel will appear in the Keynote Theatre on 23 March, from 11.30am-12.15pm.
