Theatre Of Europe was founded in 2013 by Artistic Director Henriette Morrison, created with an aim to bring the talents of leading theatre directors from the continent to a UK audience

Six projects have been developed, which will be performed in the UK in 2015 and 2016. Foreign directors who’ve shared their talents include Stéphane Olry and Sandrine Buring from France, who are developing an English version of their show Ch(ose)/Hic Sunt Leones, Ch(ose)/Here Be Lions in English for the Print Room Theatre (www.the-print-room. org).

Italians Claudio Cirri and Sara Bonaventura are working on a new theatre project with a group of 15-18 year olds in London.

Tue Biering from Denmark is developing a production of Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, which will be staged in real homes and performed by the inhabitants of each, completely unrehearsed until the moment the audience arrives. “On each project our aim is to widen access to the works of outstanding theatre directors from the continent and to internationalize the careers of the creative players involved,” says Henriette.
