For 2018, the four gardens – RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey, RHS Garden Rosemoor in Devon, RHS Garden Harlow Carr in Harrogate and RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Essex – are featuring an exciting year-round calendar of events, with more choice than ever before.

Our calendar of events opens up a great choice for groups, with year-round initiatives, such as Glow and our Winter Walks, making the gardens must-visit attractions at any time of year.

RHS Garden Wisley: The historic home of the RHS

Set in the heart of Surrey, Wisley is one of the world's greatest gardens. Ideal as a day trip from London or as part of a London or Surrey-based itinerary, there are over 200 acres to discover.
2018 events include:

  • Spring Plant Fair: 23-25 March
  • Spring Craft Fair: 3-7 May
  • RHS Garden Wisley Flower Show: 4-9 September
  • Christmas Glow: 1 December to 1 January, 2019

RHS Garden Hyde Hall: A hilltop haven in the heart of Essex

Located just outside Chelmsford, this peaceful garden boasts wide open skies and far reaching views, with some 360 acres to explore. Enjoy the beautiful hilltop garden, herbaceous borders, a rose garden, a Mediterranean-inspired Dry Garden, and the Global Growth Vegetable Garden, showcasing fruit and vegetables from around the world.

  • Rose Weekend: 9-10 June
  • Garden Sculpture Trail: 23 June to 31 July

RHS Garden Rosemoor: The perfect day out for groups

Nestled in North Devon’s beautiful Torridge Valley, Rosemoor is a hidden gem and a real treat for garden lovers whatever the season. Spread across 65 acres, within a dramatic backdrop of steep wooded valley sides, it combines formal ornamental areas filled with fragrant roses, colourful perennials, herbaceous borders and bulbs with the surrounding woodlands, which also form part of the garden, feature native trees, wildflowers and are a haven for wildlife.
2018 events include:

  • RHS National Rhododendron Show: 21-22 April
  • Spring Plant Fair: 12-13 May
  • Rose Festival: 16 June to 22 July

RHS Garden Harlow Carr: Yorkshire’s must-visit garden

On the outskirts of Harrogate, in 68 acres of glorious wooded valley, Harlow Carr captures the essence of Yorkshire within a beautiful garden setting. The garden reflects the surrounding landscapes, with water features, dry stone walling and wooded areas. Highlights include the colourful herbaceous borders, wildflower meadows, the alpine zone and the streamside walks.
