The British Tourism & Travel Show returns to the NEC Birmingham on 20-21 March 2024, with new destinations and unforgettable group experiences.

With fresh content and quality exhibitors, this year’s British Tourism & Travel Show is set to host more than 250 destinations, attractions and group-friendly hotels, with exhibitors on hand to help you create perfect itineraries for 2024 and beyond.

Among the many destinations exhibiting, you’ll be able to meet the team from Visit Essex. The county is home to Britain’s first city, Colchester, together with the world’s longest pier, and more than 200 attractions and experiences. Representatives from Derby, a friendly city in the heart of England, will also be exhibiting: home to a vibrant cultural scene, diverse restaurants and a fascinating history. Adventure is never far away here, with the dales and Peak District waiting to be explored.

You can discover the Lake District, too, world famous for its lakes and mountainous fells. There is also much to uncover in Swansea Bay. From outdoor adventures and trails to art galleries and museums, there’s plenty of choice for groups.

For those interested in guided tours, Wales Official Tourist Guides cover tours around the country.

First-time exhibitors, King’s Lynn Town Guides, will be at this year’s event. They can guide you around fine houses, medieval churches and guild halls, secret courtyards and hidden alleys to provide memorable experiences for your groups.

Fresh itinerary ideas

More first-time exhibitors will provide new inspiration, including Castle Howard House & Gardens, Cumbria Tourism, Destination Plymouth, Dolphin Spirit Inverness, Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, Isle of Man Tourism, Neath Port Talbot, Powderham Castle, Scampston Hall & Walled Garden, Visit Colchester, Visit East of England and more.

Albatross Travel, Ashley & Newey, the Belgian Tourist Office, Bodmin Jail, BWH Hotel Group, Continuum Attractions, Daniel Thwaites Hotel and Spas, Devon’s Top Attractions, Distinctive Systems, Eurotunnel, Forth Boat Tours, Norman Allen Group Travel, Outdoor Active, Ribble Valley, The Royal Mint, The Q Hotels and Visit Liverpool are just a few of the returning top names.

Unmissable show features

The show will also see the return of the Food & Drink Trail. From Cornish fudge to Scottish gin, it’s an exciting way to meet exhibitors and sample classic cuisines from around the country.

The Keynote Theatre will once again host informative speakers to update you on the latest need-to-know industry developments, trends and best practice. Speakers already confirmed include Alexander Göransson, Senior Consultant at the world’s leading independent provider of market research, Euromonitor; members of the Coach Tourism Association, and Simon Jones, MD at tourism marketing consultancy firm Navigate. You’ll also hear stories, anecdotes and facts from Blue Badge Guides from around the country to inspire tours and discover how guides can bring your itineraries to life.
