Hotel Indigo Exeter has opened its doors to guests after a multi-million-pound restoration project.

Lovingly restored and converted from the iconic former House of Fraser department store, which was built in a 1930s modernist style, the building itself dates to 1792 when Mrs Colson, a local milliner, opened a department store there named ‘Colson’s’.

With 104 bedrooms, designed around three themes reflecting Exeter's historic neighbourhood, all rooms are equipped with Hypnos beds, spa-inspired bathrooms, high speed Wi-Fi and a 43in flat screen TV.

The hotel also features ‘Colson’s’ Bar and Restaurant, a rooftop bar called ‘Becketts’ with views across Exeter Cathedral, The Dugout Sports bar (pictured here), and The Retreat Spa with four treatment rooms, two hydrotherapy pools, gym, sauna, steam room, nail bar and lounge serving Champagne.

Situated only a 30 second walk away from the Cathedral, the hotel is perfectly located for visitors to discover all that Exeter has to offer. Find out more at https://exeter.hotelindigo.com
